Dichroic Glass

Dichroic Glass for Color-Shifting Architecture, Retail and Art Installations

North One Glass supplies dichroic glass for projects that need a controlled color-shifting effect instead of a single flat color. Approved color families include radiant orange, radiant blue and radiant green, with the final appearance shaped by light direction, viewing angle, background, substrate and installation geometry.

RFQ checklist

Specify Dichroic Glass

Confirm these points before requesting a sample or quotation.

Color family Start with radiant orange, radiant blue or radiant green and approve physical samples.
Viewing condition Describe daylight, artificial lighting, background color, reflected view and transmitted view.
Panel design Confirm installation angle, viewing distance, panel size, fixing method, safety construction and surrounding materials.
Fabrication route Review thickness, tempering, lamination, edge work, drilling, packing and full-scale mock-up requirements.
Processing and delivery notes

Approved routes support cutting, edging, drilling and physical tempering for applicable dichroic constructions. Large-format coating and processing can be reviewed up to 3,300 x 16,000 mm, subject to color system, substrate, downstream processing, handling and transport.

Conditions and limitations

Dichroic color is intentionally angle- and environment-dependent. Screen images cannot define a full-size project result. Do not promise one fixed color under every light source; approve a physical sample or mock-up under representative conditions.
