Specify Temperable Mirror

Confirm these points before requesting a sample or quotation.

Product stage Separate temperable mirror, which can be processed before tempering, from tempered mirror, which is already heat-treated.

Tempering route Confirm thickness, furnace capability, edge work, holes and processing sequence before production.

Environment Identify indoor, humid, coastal, exterior, public-space or corrosive exposure and confirm edge protection.

Commercial route Send drawings, finished size, quantity, sample needs, packing route and required schedule.

Processing and delivery notes

Approved processing includes cutting, edging, drilling and physical tempering. Applicable oxidation- and corrosion-resistant mirror products carry approved 20-year warranty and outdoor-performance wording under confirmed product and order terms. Overall raw-sheet and finished capability can reach 3,300 x 16,000 mm subject to furnace, handling and transport feasibility.

Conditions and limitations

Do not describe every mirror as already tempered. Nominal transmission/reflection, exterior suitability, warranty, furnace route and finished size must be attached to the selected product, drawing and written order terms.

What is the difference between temperable mirror and tempered mirror?

Temperable mirror is supplied for a defined route where processing is planned before tempering. Tempered mirror is already heat-treated.

Can every size be tempered?

No. Furnace size, thickness, handling, holes, edge work and transport determine the finished size.

Can it be used outdoors?

Applicable oxidation- and corrosion-resistant constructions can be reviewed for exterior use, subject to edge protection, installation and order terms.

What should I send for quotation?
