Mirror Display Glass Quotation Preparation: What Affects Price, Processing and Display Result

A useful mirror display glass quotation depends on more than square meters. Buyers should explain the application, optical ratio, display brightness, thickness, finished size, quantity, processing, installation direction, indoor/outdoor environment and destination. These details affect price, cutting yield, display visibility, mirror effect, processing feasibility and packing risk.

Mirror Display Glass Quotation Preparation: What Affects Price, Processing and Display Result

A useful mirror display glass quotation starts with the application, not only the total area. The same T30/R70 glass family can be used for a touch panel, smart bathroom mirror, appliance display, elevator mirror display or large facade, but the processing route and cost are different. This article explains which details affect quotation accuracy, so buyers can compare suppliers without turning the conversation into a long form.

Start With the Application

The application tells the factory what risk to review. A 2mm touch panel needs thin structure and display clarity. A 4mm bathroom mirror needs mirror appearance, humidity resistance and safe installation. An 8mm elevator mirror display needs public-use safety and stronger handling review. A facade project may need jumbo size, safety construction and special packing.

Optical Ratio and Display Brightness

T30/R70 is the common smart mirror balance. It gives about 30% transmission and 70% reflection. If the buyer needs a brighter display, T50/R50 or a custom optical route may need review. The screen brightness, ambient light and viewing distance should be considered together.

Thickness and Finished Size

2-4mm is mainly used for touch panels and computer displays. 3.2mm, 4mm and 5mm are common for smart mirrors, beauty mirrors and bathroom mirrors. 8mm and above are reviewed for elevator displays, large commercial systems and facade projects. Finished size affects cutting yield and packing. A full-size sheet price does not tell the whole story if the project needs many mixed-size panels.

Processing Details

Processing changes cost and feasibility. Mirror display glass can be reviewed for cutting, straight or shaped edging, drilling, physical tempering, silk-screen printing, lamination and insulated-glass processing. If the project needs holes or hardware, drawings should be reviewed before quoting.

Installation Direction and Environment

The non-coated side should face the user or outside, and the coated side should face the display or inside. Bathroom, outdoor, transport-hub and facade projects should also explain humidity, cleaning, sunlight, vibration or weather exposure.

Packing and Delivery

Mirror display glass needs surface protection, moisture-resistant separation, internal shock protection and strong export wooden crates. Large or thick panels may need special crate design and loading review.

How North One Glass Reviews a Project

North One Glass can review T30/R70, T50/R50 and custom optical ratios, with processing routes including cutting, edging, drilling, tempering, printing, lamination, IGU and OEM panel delivery. Ready-stock grades and common thicknesses can support faster review, while custom optical ratios or bulk processing usually need more production planning.

Why is total square meter area not enough?

Area does not show finished dimensions, cutting yield, processing risk, packing method or display requirement. These details decide the real quotation.

Should I choose raw sheet or finished panels?

Choose raw sheet if your own processor will handle cutting and assembly. Choose finished panels if you need North One Glass to control processing, quality and export packing.

What is the fastest way to get a useful price?

Describe the application, optical ratio, screen brightness, thickness, finished size, quantity, processing and destination in one message. Drawings or photos help when the glass needs holes, printing, lamination or installation review.
